Riding high, Lee tries for fourth straight attacking point against AC Milan

French Ligue 1 club Paris Saint-Germain (PSG) international midfielder Lee Kang-in (22) will be looking for his second consecutive UCL goal and fourth consecutive attacking point.

PSG will host Milan San Siro in Milan, Italy, at 5 p.m. ET on Aug. 8 for the fourth leg of their 2023-24 UCL Group F matchup.

Sitting atop the group with a 2-1-1 record (3 points), PSG will take a step closer to securing early qualification for the Round of 16 with a win in the fourth leg. It’s a return match in enemy territory just two weeks after a 3-0 win at Anvans.

Lee, who boasts an unerring eye for goal, scored his first UCL goal since joining from Paris Saint-Germain in the third leg against AC Milan on March 26. Once the blood was flowing, the points kept coming.

Lee caught fire in three consecutive games, scoring his first league assist against Brest in the 10th round of Ligue 1 on October 29 and his first league goal against Montpellier in the 11th round of Ligue 1 on November 4.

Add in his three goals in two games for the national team in October, including his A-match debut against Tunisia and Vietnam, and it’s a complete turnaround.

He’s in full flow, and he’ll be looking to capitalize on that as he tries to pick up his fourth consecutive attacking point for PSG.

Recently, he’s been linking up with Kylian Mbappe, the club’s biggest star. Mbappe has also been flying up front with three goals and an assist in four games, so his chances of picking up another attacking point are higher than ever.

The last time Lee recorded an attacking point in four consecutive league games was in the 2022-23 season while playing for Mallorca (Spain), when he scored one against Real Betis in Round 2, one against Rayo Vallecano in Round 3, one against Girona in Round 4, and one against Real Madrid in Round 5.

He will tie this record with his goal against AC Milan.

On the same day, Celtic (Scotland), featuring Oh Hyun-gyu (22) and Yang Hyun-joon (21), will face Atletico Madrid (Spain) at the Metropolitano Stadium in Madrid, Spain.

Celtic, who are bottom of the group with a 1-1 draw and two points, need to start their rebound with a win in the fourth leg if they are to have any chance of advancing to the round of 16 or even qualifying for the UEFA Europa League (UEL), which is awarded to the third-place team in the group.

The only consolation is that they drew 2-2 with Atletico Madrid in the third leg after two consecutive defeats. 토토사이트

Oh Hyun-gyu and Yang Hyun-joon came on as substitutes in the first leg against Feyenoord (Netherlands) and the second leg against Lazio (Italy), but missed the third leg.

They will be looking for their third UCL appearance and first attacking points in this match.
