MLB Seoul Series to be broadcast nationally on ESPN

For the first time in Major League Baseball history, games played in South Korea will be broadcast nationally in the United States.

Major League Baseball announced the broadcast schedule for the 2024 season’s special events in a press release on March 12 (KST).

According to the release, ESPN will provide national coverage of the Los Angeles Dodgers and San Diego Padres’ Seoul Series at Gocheok SkyDome on March 20 and 21, 2024.

ESPN’s coverage will be blacked out. It will be available across the U.S. outside of the teams’ broadcast markets. In the teams’ hometowns, the games will be available on dedicated club broadcasts.
The two-game series between San Diego and the Dodgers will be the first major league game to be played in South Korea, and will be highlighted by Ohtani’s Dodger debut.

In addition, San Diego infielder Kim Ha-seong will be playing at the Gocheok Dome, home of his hometown team, the Kiwoom Heroes.

In South Korea, Coupang Play has been selected to broadcast the game.

ESPN will also broadcast the Mexico City Series between the Houston Astros and Colorado Rockies on April 28 in Mexico City, Mexico.

The London Series between the Philadelphia Phillies and New York Mets in London, England on June 8 and 9 will be broadcast on FOX for the first game and ESPN for the second game. 랭크카지노
